Cannabis Strains - Indicas
Indica strains are thought to have originated near Central Asia and spread to regions in Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, and Turkey. With certain strains such as Hindu Kush coming from the Hindu Kush mountain region where the durable plants are able to grow in its harsh climate.
Indica plants are typically short (under 6 feet tall) stout stocky bushy plants with broad and thick dark green leaves. Flowers of an indica plant are usually very dense. Because they grow smaller, indica strains are great for growing indoors. Indica plants typically produce less of a yield than sativa plants but this lower yield is generally offset by the indica plant's shorter growing cycle taking anywhere from 8-12 weeks to fully flower.
